Investment Research · Portfolio Construction
Research-led portfolios, built with discipline and explained with clarity.
We study businesses, industries and markets in depth, and turn that work into portfolios that are constructed, sized and reviewed against explicit rules.
01 — Approach
A research process that can be repeated and reviewed
Each idea moves through the same four stages, so that every position in a portfolio can be traced back to documented work.
- 01
Screening
We define the opportunity set with transparent criteria for liquidity, governance and data quality, and narrow it before any detailed work begins.
- 02
Fundamental research
Analysts build an independent view of each business: how it earns money, what could change that, and what the market already assumes.
- 03
Investment committee
Ideas are challenged in a written review. A position is approved only with a stated thesis, key risks and the evidence that would prove it wrong.
- 04
Monitoring
Theses are revisited on a fixed schedule and whenever new information arrives. Positions that no longer meet the thesis are reduced or exited.
02 — Portfolio Construction
Three principles that shape every portfolio
Research decides what we own. Construction decides how much, and how the whole portfolio behaves.
- I
Conviction, sized by risk
Position sizes reflect both the strength of the research and the range of outcomes, not conviction alone.
- II
Diversification that is measured
We look beyond sector labels to shared exposures, so that the portfolio is not quietly dependent on a single factor.
- III
Rules before events
Limits, rebalancing triggers and review points are written down in advance, so decisions under pressure follow an agreed framework.
